Shana Rush, PhD, CCC-SLP was trained as a Speech Language Pathologist at the University of Central Florida. In her early career she specialized in the treatment of children with autistic spectrum disorders.
Dr. Rush later earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology/AIU. She completed a one-year residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at North Shore Children's Hospital in Boston, MA and a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. She has nearly 30 years of clinical experience with cognitive, behavioral, and communications disorders.
Dr. Rush uses her positive attitude and energy to encourage others to determine their path to success. She is inspired daily by her husband, Dr. A.J. Rush and daughter, Belle. In her free time, Dr. Rush enjoys reading, working outdoors, hiking/camping, and playing with RENLY.
Dr Rush has co-authored two books: The Source for Traumatic Brain Injury in Children & Adolescents (ISBN-13: 978-0760607466) and The Source for PDD: Assessment and Intervention (ISBN-13: 978-0760603789).
Rush Pediatric Neuropsychology shares an office with Grand River Rehabilitation. We are therefore also able to offer comprehensive medical management for children with cognitive disabilities and developmental disorders.
